New Song: Pussycat Dolls – ‘React’

Published: Friday 7th Feb 2020 by Sam

It’s here!

The Pussycat Dolls have finally uncaged comeback single ‘React.’

Teased in earnest since the ladies announced their reunion, the blazing banger serves as the first taste of new music from the Pop felines.

Arriving 10 years since their last release as a group, the high-octane offering sees the ladies pick up right where they left off.

Take a listen below…

While it’s a much overused term in today’s age, this is an actual, indisputable BOP.

It’s large, loud, and melodically lingers in the best way.

What’s more, it positions PCD’s unique brand of fierce in the contemporary climate without ever sounding dated.

Of course, the unavoidable elephant in the room is the fact Nicole is once again singing everything.

Playing Devil’s Advocate, it’s entirely plausible that rather than there being some sinister plan at play –  Team PCD may simply not be wanting to tinker with the group’s tried and true format on their first swing of the bat.

Yet, on the other hand, as the age old saying goes, you’re only ever able to make one first impression. And with this being the present generation’s inaugural introduction to the latest PCD line-up, we can’t help but feel that not featuring the group’s other voices is the definition of a missed opportunity.

Here’s hoping their incoming EP rights that wrong.

For now, though, we have ‘React’ on replay!

Still no vocal distribution and very safe. And the message is very questionable. Wanting a dysfunctional relationship in 2020? When women want to be treated with respect and dignity? No vocal risks.

It should not be a lead single. Car commercial song or something.

No, they don’t want a pushover!

RIGHT – She’s saying she doesn’t want a ‘Yes Man’ she wants someone with backbone.

well it’s gonna be a hit in the clubs but it’s nothing special for radio. maybe I’ll put this on my cardio playlist lol

That’s right Kimberly, Jessica, Ashley and Carmit coming in with the the ooh’s and ahh’s. We waited 10 years for you guys to reunite and we got what we expected the pussycat dolls featuring Nicole. Melody is somewhere saying I dodged a bullet. Let’s hope the EP has some of the girls vocals

but that’s the thing tho… Carmit is the only one with an interesting voice other than Nicole in this current formation. Melody sounded off a lot live but without her they really ran out of options.

why does everyone want the other girls vocals so bad? none of them can sing…at all. they won’t sound pleasing on the records. like her or not nicole is a great singer and able to carry the entire songs with ease. overall the song is a bit lackluster

Excuse You. Ashley and Jessica can most definitely sing

This will flop in the us but will be huge in the uk and Europe.

This is cute Nicole, but it won’t go far because it’s all you. We were promised everyone would sing this around you old selfish troll. Beautiful, but your narcissism makes you a troll

The song is hot. The chorus sounds familiar.

I don’t get why people want the others to sing, who knows their names anyway ?
